To draw attention to the website, notes were placed with chalk spray paint in public places in the city of Munich as part of an unannounced street campaign, where harassment is increasingly taking place and where citizen always pass by in everyday life. The QR code can be quickly scanned with a smartphone, allowing direct access to the website. In this way, passers-by can deal with the issue directly on their way and the problem of verbal sexual harassment can be made visible and accessible to a broad public. The notes contain a clear message: the concept's main thought "Hätte ich mal…” to encourage viewers to think.
In order to arouse the curiosity and interest of passers-by, the meaning of the messages and thus the topic of verbal sexual harassment is only gradually explained on the website. In this way, people can also be reached who would have been deterred by a direct confrontation with the topic.
The notes are sprayed on the street with chalk spray paint. The paint is washable and environmentally friendly and, unlike harassment, leaves no further traces after 1-2 days of rain.
